Transport
On the Event Day, there is no parking at the Hospital or around Mt. Kellett Road. During the Race (10 to 11 a.m.) there is no entry to the Hospital. Spectators will be able to watch the Race from Mt. Kellett Road that will be open to one-way traffic only and closed to traffic during the Race. As a lot of people will join the event, you are strongly advised to take public transport or the shuttle bus provided by Matilda International Hospital.
Public Transport: The No.1 minibus runs from Edinburgh Place Central to the main entrance of the Hospital. Public bus No.15 runs from Central, No.515 runs from Causeway Bay MTR, No. 15B bus runs from Tin Hau MTR Bus Terminus and No.315 runs from Stanley Plaza to the Peak bus terminal. Alternatively take the Peak Tram and hop on the Matilda shuttle bus at the Peak Galleria.
Complimentary Shuttle Bus: There are two shuttle routes. Shuttle buses can be recognised by the green and yellow Matilda International Hospital livery and the Sedan Chair Race and Bazaar posters. You can wait for the shuttle bus in the following two places:
1. Peak Galleria Bus Terminal to the Hospital: It goes every 30 minutes from 11:15 to16:15 on the Event day. Please wait in the tour bus parking area opposite the No.1 minibus stop.
2. City Hall to the Hospital: It goes every 20 and 40 minutes past the hour from 06:40 to 09:20 and every 30 minutes from 09:20 to 16:40 (except 10:40- 12:40) on the Event day. Please wait at the City Hall.
